Distort: IG Hand Tracking v01 (Bounding Box)

I worked for the first Hand Tracking v01 project as a new AR mobile capability. My role was to lead the Product Requirements Document (PRD), set clear guidelines for model development with large XFN teams. The major achievement was to release the model for 1P and 3P creators for broader opportunities in IG Reels.

AR Effect: Distort

The distortion effect was designed to allow users to feel magic and touchless AR interaction on IG cameras for the first time. It was an effect that allowed users to distort the screen in a distance from the camera just by sensing both hands and moving their hands, and was able to adjust the intensity of distortion with the UI slider given to the screen to maximize the fun content creation in Reels.
